Girl makes her feelings of strict friendship clear
Boy continues to pursue with stalker-esque persistence
Girl talks to boy about being just friends AGAIN!
Boy apparently decides to take that as a casual suggestion
Girl cannot stand boy, girl avoids boy at all costs
Boy FINALLY backs off a little, Girl is relieved
After much persuasion from girl’s mom (works with boy),
Girl agrees to a pity date 9 months after meeting
Boy is ecstatic, Girl has a great time
They are madly in love and inseparable from then on.
That’s about average, right?

It will be an interesting story for our kids to hear when their older. We both laugh about it still. How he was just wow, in your face, crazy persistent. Not in the “aww, he really likes you” kinda way…More like “If he calls me again today I will punch him in the face” kinda way. I am NOT exaggerating at all. You can ask my sister/best friend, she had a front seat to his crazy!
I am so glad though that my mom talked me into going on that date with him…After she talked to him about taking the crazy down a notch, that is. I had the best time with him and he was so awesome!
If he had been himself and not all the obsessive needy guy I would have really liked him from the beginning. I know the first day I met him, was so much fun! He was a blast.
Then he started getting a little too attached and weird. I found out that he didn’t know how to act because, get this, I was his first real girlfriend. How cute is that?! He was not my first boyfriend, by far but, he was refreshing. I normally dated the cocky jocks or the nerds.
I love him so much and I am SOOO grateful he hung in there for a year and fought for me. He is, truly, the best man I know. He was the best boyfriend, always worried about me, he took care of me every time I was sick, he would leave little notes in my locker at work sometimes just telling me he loved me. And decorate the front and inside on birthdays, anniversaries, holidays! And he is the best husband too:)
I am the luckiest girl EVER! Thanks, Honey for the last 9 ½ years and look forward to eternity
